Uyghur Alphabet

Here is part 5 of this learning to read series. In part 4 we learned four more Uyghur letters. Let's continue and learn a few more letters. 

u  - as in the u sound in zoo or two. Here are the different ways the letter looks:
ئۇ ۇ ـۇ ـئۇ

f - as in the f sound in free. Here are the different ways the letter looks:
ف فـ ـفـ ـف

Let's do some reading practice:
بۇ - bu
ئۇسۇل - usul
مۇنۇ - munu
پۇتبول - putbol
فا - fa
ئوفو - ofo
سافۇ - safu
لىفت - lift

Let's learn two more letters:
j - This letter has the j sound as in job or Jack. Here are the different ways the letter looks:
ج جـ ـجـ ـج

ch - This letter has the ch sound as in church. Here are the different ways the letter looks:
چ چـ ـچـ ـچ

Now let's try reading some more:
جا - ja
جىن - jin
مۇجۇ - muju
بوجا - boja
چۇ - chu
ئۇچ - uch
چوكا - choka

A few of these are actual words in Uyghur:
بۇ - bu = this
پۇتبول - putbol = football
لىفت - lift = elevator
چوكا - choka = chopsticks
