Here is part 3 of this learning to read series. In part 2 we learned our first 4 Uyghur letters. Let's continue and learn a few more letters.
p - This letter has the p sound as in pot. Here are the different ways the letter looks:
پ پـ ـپـ ـپ
o - This letter has the o sound as in toe or go. Here are the different ways the letter looks:

ئاپا - apa
پاپا - papa
ئوت - ot
ئون - on
ئوم - om
موما - moma
تون - ton
توم - tom
پوتا - pota
پومپا - pompa

b - This letter has the b sound as in boy. Here are the different ways the letter looks:

d - This letter has the d sound as in dog. Here are the different ways the letter looks:

بابا - baba
باپ - bap
بانا - bana
داپ - dap
دادا - dada
بادام - badam
بودا - boda
دومبا - domba
ماندا - manda
*Note that the d letter almost always stays isolated (not connected).
A few of these are actual words in Uyghur:
ئاپا - apa = mother (formal, or used more in Northern Xinjiang)
دادا - dada = father (used more in Northern Xinjiang)
موما - moma = grandmother
ئون - on = ten
پوتا - pota = girdle
باپ - bap = chapter
بادام - badam = almond
